About Kaiti Beach at the yacht club

Very popular with yachting and boating enthusiasts.

History about the ramp

Easy access to the water has always been a problem but this was eased in 1956 when the Harbour Board made available a site adjacent to the old signal station and the club was allowed to construct a ramp into the harbour channel.
