Phone survey to find out how Council is doing

Free parking during Genesis filming
20 May 2013
Shoppers to town on Wednesday and Thursday this week will not have to pay for parking. The filming of the ‘Genesis – The Dark Horse’ feature length movie will be happening in Peel Street on 22 and 23 May. Part of Peel Street from Gladstone Road to Palmerston Road will be closed from 6am to 6pm to vehicles. Foot traffic is still permitted and the film company will have people on board to direct pedestrians through the set safely. Film crews will also have several car parks reserved around the area for vehicles with technical equipment. Read more >>
