Waterways approval and water permit

Application to install an intake chamber in the bed of the Waipaoa River and extract up to 540 cubic metres of water per day at a maximum rate of 8.33 litres per second.  At map reference NZMS 260 Y18 2938424 6273704

A water permit is required for irrigation.

The application includes an assessment of environmental effects, see attachment below image.

Any person may make a written submission on the application.  To make a submission.

Submissions must be received no later than 4pm Wednesday 22 September 2010. A copy of your submission must also be sent to the applicant.

This notice is given under section 95A of the Resource Management Act 1991.
