Manutuke Township Plan

Planning for Manutuke's township upgrade is happening now.

We're working with the community through a series of hui and workshops focused on the places and spaces important to Manutuke.  We want to capture the community’s vision for your place.

Back in 2010 we worked with the community to capture the vision for their township and guide us in planning for the future development over the next 20+ years.

A plan was developed with the community that identified the following priorities: investigate reticulated water supply to township, marae-based drainage, cultural centre, heritage walk, upgrade Te Arai Reserve, reduce Argentine ant populations, establish community committee, reliable internet services and land development.

Manutuke Township Plan was developed in February 2011
