Forum "Solar Water Heater Instalation" A forum for solar water heating suppliers, installers, specifiers and Building Inspectors to update themselves on current best practice for installation of systems. The Solar Industries Association (SIA), and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) invite you to a one day forum on solar water heater design, consenting, and installation. The forum will be repeated at eight regional centres throughout NZ so that those wishing to participate can go to a local forum without extensive travel. Now that the standards and regulatory environment have been finalised for installation of solar water heating systems in NZ it is proposed to have this forum to ensure that all parties involved are up-to-speed with requirements and are able to discuss the issues currently arising when consenting or installing a solar water heater system. The forum is aimed at assisting system designers, system suppliers, component suppliers, installers, consenting authorities, architects and building services engineers be fully informed of current best practice for installation. The forum will be supported by the prior sending out of information material which will be referenced at the forum. If you are not able to attend the forum this material can still be sent to you if you register you contact details. The forum will be based around a brief presentation and then facilitated discussion on each topic. Suppliers of ancillary system components eg pipes, controllers, pumps will also provide information on their available product, choice of product for specific applications, and correct installation procedures. This is an opportunity for installers, consent authorities and others to discuss their respective concerns and hear what is current best practice. |
