Draft Parking Policy 2017
We've developed a future-orientated parking policy with feedback from our community, to ensure there's turn-over of parking in the CBD.
With 1000 free all-day parks and 681 metered car parks within easy walking distance of Gladstone Road it’s important we hear what you think.
The purpose of the policy is to have a balance between making sure there's enough car parks for shoppers and enough all-day parks for workers.
The policy sets rules for parking that are consistent, simple and transparent and data driven - modern technology is likely to play a big part
We think these will achieve the things the community have told us are important, like greater convenience and a more vibrant city centre.
