Proposed plan change 1 to the Regional Plan for discharges to land and water, waste management and hazardous substances seeks to amend the rules in the Discharges Plan for managing wastewater systems on all unreticulated properties in the Gisborne district.
Council has also updated the guidelines for on-site wastewater management that are used by Council staff and those designing, installing and maintaining on-site wastewater systems. These guidelines are referenced in the Discharges Plan.
