The 2009/10 Annual Report describes our activities, achievements and finances for the period 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010.
It highlights our leadership, services and key performance measures. It's our way of being accountable to you and looks at the progress we have made against our Ten Year Plan and Annual Plan.
Gisborne District Council is in a strong financial position, ending the financial year with a moderate surplus as well as a decreased debt level. However, rates affordability continues to be an issue.
